Neptune Oyster in Boston’s North End uses only three ingredients for their world famous lobster roll — tender lobster tail and claw served warm, a char-grilled hot dog roll, and clarified butter. You can make this at home perfectly easily. Just don’t overcook the lobster, grill the roll in butter till it’s brown, drizzle plenty of butter, and consider adding a pinch of sea salt and a squeeze of fresh lemon. At Neptune it’s best enjoyed with a pint of Guinness on tap! Sounds weird, I know, but it’s actually an excellent “pairing.” Perhaps because both lobster and Guinness are actually quite creamy and rich? Tell me what you think if you try it!
