So many hungry baby birds … so many exhausted mamas. Spent two hours in the refuge today only to find this little one right in my back yard, crying loudly for food. Mamas are the same no matter the species. They just keep going till the little ones are fed and sleepy. They rest but only until the next feeding cycle begins.
